Young Investigators Meeting


One of the aims of PRES is to stimulate research in the field of Paediatric Rheumatology. One way of doing this is to enable young investigators to increase their skills in reputable laboratories and clinical research groups in Europe and to provide a platform for the exchange of their experiences.

The 2010 Young Investigators meeting will be held from 9.00 hrs – 20.00 hors on Wednesday 8th September.

There are 100 vacancies for this year PRES meeting.
Priority would be given to those young investigators with an accepted abstract.
100 free places are available (see qualifying criteria)
40 extra vacancies are available for co-authors over 40.

 

Qualifying criteria for a free place

To qualify for a free place you must:

  • be under the age of 40 on 8th September
  • be a PRES member by 27th July
  • have an abstract accepted at YIM

Free registration for Young Investigators attending includes:

  • 2 nights of hotel (Double room)
  • Bursary for travelling to Valencia (up to 200 euros)

Main Meeting Bursaries for YIM attendees:

  • Those young investigators who will win the annual young investigators research awards will have a bursary including Congress registration and accommodation.
  • Those young investigators attending the YIM with an abstract accepted and who would like to attend the PRES congress can opt for a PRES bursary (200 euros).
